NEUTRON SOLSTICE
STYLE: SYNTHWAVE/DARK POP/CYBERPUNK
Behold the future of humanity witnessed in a parallel universe while travelling astral dimensions.
A conceptual music project of Jason Sidote (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) and Morgane Matteuzzi (Geneva, Switzerland)
Featuring powerful, symphonic vocals with mid-tempo layered experimental electronic music encapsulated within a post-apocalyptic/cyberpunk aesthetic. Each EP release has a sequential audiobook chapter/soundtrack that keeps the listener engaged into another world within Neutron Solstice.
Jason started writing and releasing heavy metal music in the late 90s when he was a teenager, forming Evil Divine (Metal Age) and played the notorious Milwaukee Metalfest along with bands such as Emperor, Mercyful Fate and Death. They were featured on B-CAT TV (NYC) and had multiple guest spots on Neill Jameson's (Krieg) Radio Show 91.7 WFLR and opened up for acts such as Nile and Mortician.
Members from Evil Divine went on to form bands such as Rumpelstiltskin Grinder and XXX Maniak who were signed to Relapse Records, Distant Dominion and SONJA among others. Notably, Jason also has a gothic trap metal project called Skeleton Toucher formed in 2020 featuring Ryan Moll from Evil Divine/Rumpel on guitar/backing vocals with Morgane Matteuzzi on additional vocals and studio engineer handling production, mixing and mastering.
Morgane studied vocals/opera at the 'Royal College of Music' in London (global no.1 for performing arts) and songwriting at 'BIMM' in Berlin, Germany. Moreover, she was taught all aspects of music production by Royce Wood Junior (SOHN, Nao, Kwabs)
She also had the chance to work as a singer and vocal arranger for Grammy awarded sound engineer Philip Larsen (Kylie Minogue) and composing music for 'RTS' (National Swiss Television) in addition to producing/composing for several other artists. The last 2 singles of her solo project SYNEYE were playlisted on 'Couleur 3' (Swiss national public radio). Besides her live performances with SYNEYE using the Ableton Push, Morgane has also performed with black metal jazz musician Etienne Pelosoff who taught her music mastering.
Combined, Jason and Morgane bring different strengths and perspectives to the project while sharing much of the same artistic vision. The future of Neutron Solstice will have both Jason and Morgane composing the music and continue to prolifically create high quality, unique songs with the end game of developing a live stage show and going on tour if the right situation arises.
